Competition Format

Teams will compete in 4 rounds; a problem solving round, a cross number round, a group round and a relay round. Prizes will be awarded for across these categories.

The problems will be set so that they are accessible to students in their final three years of High School. No particular curriculum course is necessary nor provides any specific advantage in content.

In addition it is intended that students will work in buddy teams composed of students from different schools to solve problems outside the formal 4 round competition. There will be prizes for the best performances in this competition also. There will also be a Maths Trail around the local area- again students will be in groups from different schools for this competition.
